Tidal Money uses a bi-directional flow of data which allows us to create and update files, process and post earnest money and disbursement payments, and pass documents such as PSAs and receipts.
The integration does require that a Resware internal user be assigned for Tidal Money in order for files to be created and updated in your Resware instance.
No, creating a file in Resware is not required. Tidal Money allows for flexibility in the work flows so that Tidal Money can create the file in Resware or update a file you have already created.
The timing of when a Resware file is updated or created is completely dependent on your process flow. Tidal Money has been created to work within a titles work flow, not against it.
